Getting started
- Tap Choose Audio Files.
- Pick one file — or several — from the Files app (MP3, M4A, and more).
- Use the big Play/Pause button, the 5s / 10s skip buttons, or Previous / Next to control playback.
Frequently asked questions
Where does Big Player Audio get audio from?
From your own files. Big Player Audio plays audio you choose through the iOS Files app — it does not include a store, streaming, or downloads.
Does it remember where I stopped?
Yes. Every file remembers exactly where you left off. If you close the app, lock your phone, or even restart your device, Big Player Audio returns to the same track at the same position.
Does audio keep playing in the background?
Yes. Playback continues when your phone is locked or you switch apps, and controls appear on the Lock Screen and on CarPlay.
A file shows "File unavailable" — why?
That file was moved, renamed, or deleted in the Files app since you picked it. Tap Choose Audio Files and select it again.
What audio formats are supported?
Common formats including MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV, and AIFF — any audio file iOS can play.
